My name is Kaley and I am passionate about real food, natural healing, and non-toxic living.  I have 2 boys (and a busy husband) that eat real and nourishing food at home.  Children’s health and nutrition is very important to me.  We limit processed foods, fast foods, and sugar.   My family has been using natural healing methods successfully for over 5 years.  There are many safe and holistic alternatives to the westernized approach to medicine.  These natural alternatives are less expensive and do not have risky side effects.  We use natural healing, have healthy sleep habits, reduce toxins in our home, and enjoy the outdoors.  All these things are important to a happy and healthy body.

My family also owns and operates 2 family farms in Florida.  One is located in Citrus County, FL (over 700 acres) and the smaller farm (over 200 acres) is located in Hernando County, FL.  We raise pastured, grass-fed cows, chickens, and goats.  Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing Grassfed/ hormone free meat at 801-803-4502.  At our Inverness Ranch we host weddings, corporate parties, family retreats.  We offer horse back riding lessons, pony lessons, farm tours, wagon rides, and other farm related activities like: goat milking, herding the goats, fishing on our fresh water lake, etc.  Please contact me with any questions.

We have recently moved to Salt Lake City, Ut but we will be returning to Florida often.  In the meantime I will be blogging about our outdoor adventures in Utah.

I am also in the middle of pursuing my degree in natural medicine.  I will be posting about different natural remedies as I go.  I love to learn about all forms of natural healing.   This degree will take me a few years to accomplish, but it will be well worth it.

  3. Love your blog layout. very clean . I just bought Nourishing Traditions for my wife recently, She’s been wanting it for a while but kept forgetting to order it. It’s definitely old fashioned but thats when real cooking really happened. A lot has changed over the years.
